Shimadzu Chemistry & Diagnostics was pleased to celebrate the inauguration ceremony of its new entity on April 08, in the presence of many local and international guests.

The name of the new structure was unveiled in the presence of Shimadzu group representatives to celebrate this new milestone for the company. On April 1, 2025, the Japanese group decided to merge 2 of its European companies to create Shimadzu Chemistry & Diagnostics, in order to create synergies and strengthen the group's position in the clinical and mass spectrometry markets (read the press release).

The Shimadzu Group was represented by :

• Masami Tomita, Executive Director and General Manager of Analytical & Measurement Instrument Division, Shimadzu Corporation
• Yoshiaki Hirao, President of Shimadzu Europa GmbH
• Jürgen Semmler, Managing Director, Shimadzu Europa GmbH
• Daisuke Kawakami, Head of the Clinical Mass Spectrometry Solution Center, Shimadzu Europa GmbH
• Marc Fernandez, Managing Director Shimadzu France

The event was also honored by the presence of the Consul General of Japan in Strasbourg, Mr. Hiroyuki Uchida, as well as many local socio-economic partners.
